Above Burriana Beach lies a large cluster of houses and apartments shaped in a semi circle, stepping up as they go back like a Roman ampitheatre! The ones on the left get the sun in the morning; the ones on the right get the sun in the afternoon; whilst the ones in the centre get the best of both worlds - all day sun!
Our large detached villa stands perfectly in the middle - and what a view! Surprisingly not overlooked there is a superb sea view and from the balcony we often see dolphins swimming in the beautifuly clear waters of the bay of Burriana. The property actually has Living Area on one floor plus 3 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms on the other floor, (although it is only available for rental as a 1 Bedroom 1 Bathroom property), so the living accommodation is much larger than usual for a 1 Bedroom 1 Bathroom property.
Burriana beach itself, which we consider to be the jewel in Nerja`s crown, is only a 3 minute walk downhill - it takes a little longer coming back, particularly after a few sangrias! The property is located near the bottom of the Burriana hill just above the beach.
Our property is adorned with quality fitments and has been beautifully furnished for our own use rather than for the renting market, and we must stress that the villa will be rented only to persons prepared to treat it with the same care and respect as we do. We regret no children under the age of 7 years.
The benefit of our detached villa over an apartment is that you do not have to suffer noisy families on the other side of the wall. Neither do you have the irritation of someone walking around in high heels or the annoying dragging of furniture and patio chairs by the people on the floor above you!
Los Almendros is a small complex with beautifully kept gardens. Due to its priviliged position there are many steps and it is not suitable for those with restricted mobility.
Further details outdoors: Huge arched French windows lead onto the Balcony which has dining table and chairs and 2 sunbeds.
