General Description
A lovely 3 Bedroom. 2 bathroom apartment with everything for a leisurely.holiday OR a lively one, the choice is yours. It offers both. Light and airy, English TV 35 channels & radio, some Spanish & DVD.
Linen and Towels included.(except beach) It sleeps five comfortably.
Only a 2 minute walk from the beaches. The warm shallow waters of the Lagoon are a safe haven for children and for snorkelling. Ideal for just lounging around, enjoying a sangria and occasional dip in the sea, or, if more energetic, trying out the many watersports available. This is a relatively unknown part of Spain, a mixture of Old and New Spain, yet in places quite cosmopolitan. Always something new to see, so many coves, a ferry across to the island and other places around the Lagoon.
A very interesting place to enjoy a break. whatever the day brings a good nights sleep is almost guaranteed.

Bedrooms / Bathrooms
BEDROOMS: bedrooms are a good size, 1 double, 1 twin and a single. All have ample wardrobe and drawer space. The double has an ensuite bathroom. Ceiling fans in every room. Sliding windows.
Linen and towels included.
BATHROOMS: A full 4 piece bathroom with over head power shower,ensuite to the main bedroom.
A shower room with walk in shower, pedestal wash basin and W.C.
All tiled throughout

Living Areas
The lounge diner is a good size with comfortable settees, The Television has the usual 5 english channels plus many more, and a DVD player. Also some Spanish programmes. It is on the 8th floor, (top floor except for penthouse).The block only has 6 apartments per floor, the 2 and 3 bedrooms are on each corner.
With view over the park.

Kitchen / Dining
DINING: The Dining end of the lounge has a table to seat 5 comfortably.
KITCHEN: This is separate from the Lounge and is fully equipped with Full size Fridge Freezer, Hob and oven, Washing machine, Microwave, Toaster and Kettle.
It is fully equipped with utensils.china,crockery and cooking ware.
All hot water and electricity is included in the price.

Swimming Pool

Outside
OUTSIDE & POOL AREA: The apartment has disabled access, as does the shared pool. It is fully secure with double key entry.

Car parking iis allocated and undercover, also with secure key entry.

There is a regular bus service that runs along the strip, and where a connection to Cartagena and other villages can be made.
It is very reasonably priced and makes an enjoyable ride.

Location
The apartment is situated at the end of the peninsula, nestled between the Mar Menor Lagoon and the Mediterranean.The land here is only 300 metres wide giving almost immediate access to the beaches.The whole of La Manga is flat, allowing easy access to the 22 kms of sandy beach. A good choice of restaurants/bars and a 9 hole golf course and driving range.are
within a 40 metre walk.
Open to all, very reasonablly priced with a small cafe/bar for those who don`t play to enoy a tipple, whilst others enjoy a round.

Only 15 minutes away is the Thomas Maestro Marina, another lovely place to visit.
Further on there are the many shops and supermarkets. Plus a lovely english restaurant called Knobbys.

If you are expecting Blackpool in the sun then this isn`t the place for you. No McDonalds,Theme Parks or Football crowds. But don`t be fooled there is plenty to do.

Changeover Details
The changeover day is flexible. Obviously according to bookings at the time.
Arrival after 1530 and departure before 1030. Once again
this could be discussed beforehand.

A 20% deposit is requested on booking with the remainder to be paid at least 4 weeks before arrival.

A GOOD REDUCTION IS OFFERED ON 2 WEEKS +, PLEASE EMAIL FOR THE LATEST PRICES.

Extra Details
I have compiled an information booklet to help with finding the "off the beaten track" places of interest, watering holes and beaches.
There is a beach umbrella and lilo in the apartment.

TOWELS(except beach) AND LINEN PLUS DEPARTURE
CLEANING CHARGE ARE INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. A HAIRDRYER IS ALSO PROVIDED.

A car is resommended, although it is not essential.
If any help is required with car hire ( I know the area well) I can assist at a reasonable price. Also if transport is required from the airport, this can also be arranged.
The nearest airport is San Javier(Murcia) approximately 40 minutes, although Alicante is only 1.1/2 hrs. The road is easy and well maintained.

I have stipulated No Smoking, but this would be alright on the terrace.
